Another Conference in the Books!

This month, Loan Vision spent some time in Austin, Texas holding our 4th annual Loan Vision User Conference. As it was the first conference we’ve had since 2019, it was very highly anticipated, both by our team and by our customers. With this conference also being our largest one yet, we met with a number of new faces and reconnected with old friends. We had so much fun putting this conference together for you, so keep on reading to see how it all came together!

Sunday, September 18th: The Roundtable and Opening Reception

Our conference kicked off with an Executive Roundtable discussion led by our Director of Sales & Marketing Carl Wooloff & CWDL’s Partner Dustin Pfluger. With discussion points around managing margins & expenses, new products, and the new ASC842 lease standards, this was a session you didn’t want to miss! Our Opening Reception ended the night with so many of our customers, vendors, and friends reconnecting with one another and enjoying each other’s company. With hors d’oeuvres passed and drinks flying, it was definitely an opening night to remember! Check out some photos below of the reception!

Monday, September 19th: Day 1 of LVUC2022

Day 1 of our first conference in 3 years felt great! It started off with a bang (and an Englishman in a cowboy hat) which really set the tone for the rest of the conference! Carl Wooloff, Ben Saunders (Director of Deployment) and Arun Srinivasan (Banyan Operating Partner) discussed everything from Loan Vision’s change of ownership to where the market and our product is headed. Our 3 tracks were filled with something for everyone to benefit from, and the LV Lab was, as always, one of the biggest hits! CWDL kicked off the day with Dustin Pfluger discussing lease accounting. His session was so popular, we almost ran out of room in Lady Bird Studio! Michael McAuley from Garrett McAuley was also featured on our Day 1 Executive Track with his session Seven Mortgage Banking Disasters You Must Not Repeat. Dr. Andy Schell (Mortgage Banking Solutions & MBS Financial Services), JT Gaietto (Digital Silence), and Kellene Klocke (Accu-Keep) also made guest speaker appearances with some awesome sessions! Check out some of the photos from the sessions below!

Tuesday, September 20th: Day 2 of LVUC2022

Day 2 picked up right where Day 1 left off. With changing content (and a few hangovers), the excitement stayed on 10! CWDL kicked off the day again with Susan Volpe discussing Maximizing Human Capital in Today’s Market. Another speaker who maxed out Lady Bird Studio was Jim Deitch, Co-Founder and CEO of Teraverde. Jim’s session 10 Steps for a Financial Executive to Take Right Now was definitely one of the conference favorites! Rosie Marlier & Lizz Patnaude (Richey May) and Mike McFadden (OptiFunder) were also on the Day 2 Executive Track and provided some great insight about key factors in the industry! The excitement seemed to dial itself up a bit later in the evening at our Network Event held at The Tipsy Alchemist. With drinks flying (again) and the educational portion of the conference complete, everyone was able to enjoy themselves, their friends, and their alcohol to the fullest extent. This was an awesome night, and we’re so happy we were able to get together with everyone again! Check out some photos from Day 2 of LVUC2022 and the Network Event below!

We were absolutely thrilled to be able to give you another Loan Vision User Conference after 3 years of not having one. The content we share is great, but our favorite part is reconnecting with all of our customers and friends. Our conference would absolutely not be possible without the hard work of the Loan Vision team, the dedication of our guest speakers, and the support from our sponsors. We’re so grateful to have such amazing people who care about making our User Conference the best it can be! We hope everyone who attended had just as much fun as we did. We can’t wait to see you back for LVUC2023!
